Camp Q&A

Q: Does my child need to bring dance shoes?

A: For our themed camps, dance shoes are optional — your child is welcome to bring them if they'd like, but they're not required. We won't be doing any tap dancing, and most campers prefer to participate in socks or barefoot since we include plenty of tumbling and floor activities.

Q: Will my child need to bring a lunch?

A: Yes! Please send your child with a light lunch or a hearty snack to enjoy during camp. For the safety of all campers, nut products of any kind are not permitted.

Q: Does my child need to be a current MSDA student?

A: No. Summer camp is a great way to try out Miller Street! Enroll your child and encourage their friends to join them!

Q: What if we sign up for a camp and then need to change it?

A: All camp registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Once your child is enrolled for a specific camp date, changes to a different camp are not possible. This policy helps us ensure each camp is properly staffed and prepared for every child attending.

Q: Where do I sign up?

A: Registration is completed online. Simply find the camp(s) that fit your family's summer schedule and click "Register" next to that camp. If a camp is full, it will appear as "Waitlist." Then, just follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your registration.

Q: What should my child wear?

A: For our themed camps, we recommend comfortable clothing that your child can move in — and that you won't mind getting a little messy! Leotards with shorts, or shorts/jazz pants with a t-shirt, work perfectly. Remember, our themed camps include arts & crafts and tumbling, so outfits that are easy to move in (and easy to wash) are best.
